Finally, AFFORDABLE Student Credit Recovery!
You know credit recovery is important to high school students, as it provides them with the opportunity to get back on track academically and meet graduation requirements. We know that too, but we did not have that solution on our platform… UNTIL NOW! More importantly, we made it budget friendly!
Why Aren’t My Alternative Students Engaged?
We here this all the time when we are traveling and meeting educators. It’s a problem many alternative programs face, right? Engaging alternative students can be challenging because traditional teaching methods often fail to address their unique needs and learning styles. That’s where Project-Based Learning comes to the rescue!

Centric Learning Presents at the National Alternative Education Association
Pairing Competency-Based Assessment with Project-Based Learning: A Powerful Approach for Alternative Education Students
Presenter: Maidie Baker, Director of Curriculum & Instruction
This presentation will explore how combining Competency-Based Education (CBE) with Project-Based Learning (PBL) creates a dynamic and personalized learning experience, particularly suited for alternative education students. By focusing on mastery of specific skills and knowledge through hands-on, real-world projects, this approach empowers students to take ownership of their learning journey. Attendees will learn how CBE allows students to progress at their own pace, ensuring they fully understand concepts before moving forward, while PBL encourages critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. Together, these models foster deeper engagement, academic growth, and practical readiness, making them an ideal framework for supporting diverse learners in alternative education settings.
