December…A Time to Relax?!?
By Jeremy Johnson, Director of Sales and Marketing, Centric Learning
December may slow down for students during the holiday season, but not always for educators and administrators. It is a great time to catch up, re-organize, and explore what options are available to make YOUR program the most efficient and what helps YOUR students learn best!

Can We Buy You Lunch?
If you are an administrator for any of the below programs, then we want to treat you and up to 4 colleagues to a personal 30-minute virtual, or in-person, lunch and learn!
- Alternative Education
- Adult Education
- Virtual School/Program
- At-Risk/Juvenile Detention
Topics include our asynchronous self-paced options, credit recovery, live classes for teacher shortages, and tutoring solutions. If you are exploring education alternatives, this is a great opportunity to learn about us and enjoy a complimentary lunch!

Insanity in Alternative Education
By Jeremy Johnson, Director of Sales and Marketing, Centric Learning
Insanity Defined
At some point in our lives, we all have heard insanity defined as doing the same thing repeatedly but expecting different results. A more literal definition would be “extreme foolishness; folly; senselessness; foolhardiness” (Dictionary.com). I would agree that the definition we have become accustomed to meets the more literal definition found at Dictionary.com when it comes to teaching our alternative students. Our problem does not lie in our ability to define insanity, but rather in our inability to change direction. In my opinion, that rings true in alternative education.
