This article provides an overview of a set of strategies that elementary teachers used to engage face-to-face and remote learners. One innovative strategy that was used to accommodate remote learners with slow internet was to allow students to record their presentations to explain the process and results of their experiments. These students were extremely creative in their approach. This strategy can also be used to help students overcome their fear of speaking in front of the class. This article also presents other interactive and project-based learning strategies to engage both remote and face-to-face learners.
